Smart Meter Booklets sent out to customers explain how to use their meters. I did the illustrations and layout for these. By the time we got to sending out collateral like this to our customers, we had set up a relationship with a printer. The environment is really important to me, and as OVO likes to consider itself a 'green' energy company, we thoroughly vetted them for both quality and environmental practises so that we could put stamps on the back of our published materials that was both FSC, recyclable and certified carbon neutral! There is so much waste and pollution that goes into printing processes that on a personal level, this is one of the things I am the most proud of achieving at OVO. I love working in print, and ensuring that this aspect of my job does as little damage to the environment as possible makes me really happy.
